A leading industrial solutions provider recently announced the successful installation of a state-of-the-art laboratory equipment suite at a Vietnamese manufacturing facility. The comprehensive setup includes essential tools for material testing and analysis, covering hardness testing, metallographic preparation, and mechanical property evaluation.
The new laboratory features a hardness tester for precise measurement of material hardness across various scales, metallographic grinding and polishing machine to prepare samples for microscopic analysis, and metallographic cutting machine designed for clean, accurate specimen trimming. Metallographic mounting press ensures secure embedding of small or irregular samples, while a high-resolution microscope enables detailed examination of material microstructures.
For mechanical testing, the suite includes universal testing machine capable of performing tensile, compression, and bending tests, as well as an impact tester compliant with international standards to assess material impact strength test. These instruments collectively enhance the facility’s ability to conduct rigorous quality control, research, and development for industries such as automotive, aerospace, and metal fabrication.
“The installation marks a significant milestone in Vietnam’s industrial upgrading,” said a project spokesperson. “This advanced equipment will streamline material testing processes, improve data accuracy, and support local manufacturers in meeting global quality standards.” The laboratory is now operational, providing end-to-end solutions for material characterization and ensuring compliance with ISO, ASTM, and other international norms.
