A touch-screen automatic turret Vickers Hardness Tester integrating electromechanical and optical technologies for efficient and repeatable hardness measurement. Designed for laboratories and industrial quality control, the system combines automatic loading, holding and unloading with a high-precision optical measurement system.
Key Features.The HTV-50AT features a 7-inch touch screen, dual optical channels using an eyepiece and CCD camera, adjustable optical brightness, automatic turret positioning, and direct hardness value reading from measured indentation length. It can store 100 sets of Test data, display average and test-count information, and export results through USB. Vickers and Knoop hardness measurement and multi-scale conversion are supported.
Technical Parameters.Available test forces are 1, 5, 10, 20, 30 and 50 kgf (9.8–490 N), with a 1–99 s holding time. The optical system uses 10× and 20× objectives, with 40× customizable, total magnification of 100×/200×, a 400 μm measuring range and 0.5 μm resolution. The Hardness Test range is 5–3000 HV. Overall dimensions are 585 × 200 × 630 mm and weight is 42 kg.
Standards & Applications.The Tester meets GB/T 4340.1, GB/T 4340.2 and ASTM E92, with accuracy references including JJG260-91, JIS B 7725, JIS B 7734, ASTM E-384, ISO 6507-2 and ISO4546. It is suitable for steel and nonferrous metals, carbide, ceramics, glass, wafers, coatings, surface-hardening layers and heat-treated materials.
